This Privacy Policy explains what data SnapRemind accesses on your device, why it needs access, and confirms that none of it leaves your device.

Data We Collect

We collect no data. SnapRemind does not have servers, does not connect to the internet, and does not transmit any information. The app has no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising SDKs.

Your reminders, photos, notes, and alarm schedules are stored only on your device using local device storage. They are never uploaded anywhere.

Permissions We Request and Why

• Camera — lets you snap a photo to attach to a reminder. Photos stay on your device and are never uploaded.
• Notifications / POST_NOTIFICATIONS — required to deliver reminder alerts and alarms at the time you set.
• Schedule Exact Alarm / Use Exact Alarm — ensures alarms fire at the precise time you scheduled, even when the device is asleep.
• Wake Lock — wakes the screen briefly when an alarm fires so you see and hear it.
• Vibrate — enables vibration for alarm and reminder notifications.
• Receive Boot Completed — reschedules your pending alarms after the device restarts so none are lost.
• Read Media Images — lets you pick an existing photo from your gallery to attach to a reminder.
• Request Ignore Battery Optimizations — lets you allow the app to deliver alarms reliably when battery saver is active.
• Use Full Screen Intent — displays alarm notifications as a full-screen alert so they are visible even when the screen is off.

No permission is used for any purpose other than the function described above.

Internet Access

SnapRemind does not have the INTERNET permission. It cannot make network requests. It is physically incapable of sending data off your device.

Third-Party Services

SnapRemind uses no third-party SDKs, analytics libraries, advertising networks, or external services. The only framework used is Capacitor, an open-source framework that provides native device access. It does not collect data on our behalf.

Children’s Privacy

SnapRemind is a general-purpose reminder app suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. Since the app collects no data at all, there is nothing to collect from children.

Data Retention and Deletion

All data (reminders, photos, settings) is stored locally on your device. You can delete all app data at any time by uninstalling SnapRemind. There is no server-side data to request deletion of.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and note the changes in the app’s release notes.
